Ashley Ziegle enters her sixth season as the Salem University head volleyball coach. She also serves as Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).
Ziegle previously served for two years as head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan College, her alma mater. Her first college head coaching position was at West Virginia Tech. She also spent two years as an assistant coach at Concord University while attending graduate school.
Ziegle also has coaching experience at the club level with stints at Upland Volleyball Club, Clash Southwest Volleyball Club and Survivor Jo's Club.
In her playing days, Ziegle was a setter/right side hitter for West Virginia Wesleyan College. During her senior year, she was second on the team with 166 assists, including a season-high 23 assists against Seton Hill.
Ziegle earned her undergraduate degree in physical education and health, and her master's degree in health promotion.
She is a native of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif and has a 7 year old dog named Ada.
