Morgan, a 1960 graduate, spent her junior and senior years as a member of the tennis team, one of only two co-eds. She had two winning seasons, earning a letter in tennis and becoming a member of the “Varsity S” club.
She was very active in the women’s athletic program, participating in on teams in volleyball, basketball and baseball. As a member of the women’s Social/Recreational Association, she was active in Salem P.E programs and others campus activities. A leader and role model, Joan had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help others. Joan went on to teach Physical Education and Health
Joan went on to teach Physical Education and health at Bridgeton Jr. High and Middle School for 33 years.
