Leidy Sanchez (Bogota, Columbia) scored two goals and the Salem International University women's soccer team scored a season-high three goals, but it wasn't enough as Ohio Valley University slipped by the Tigers, 4-3, in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night at Dovull-Rosier Field on the campus of Fairmont State University.
The Tigers fall to 0-10-0 on the season and are 0-8-0 in the G-MAC.
Along with Sanchez,
Yasmin Crispin scored her first goal of the season.
Sarah Jacques (Westerly, R.I.) had six saves in the loss, while
Natalia Rodrguez (Miami, Fla.) grabbed five saves in relief.
SIU returns to action on Thursday at Alderson Broaddus University.
