MSOC: Point Park Spoils Senior Night For SIU

10/29/2015 UPDATE: Due to an ineligible player participating for Point Park, the game was forfeited on 10/29/2015 by Point Park and switched to a 1-0 win for Salem International

Bridgeport, W.Va. - Salem International University's comeback attempt ran out of time in a 2-1 loss to visiting Point Park University (NAIA) in a non-conference tuneup before the Great Midwest Athletic Conference tournament at the Bridgeport City Park in Bridgeport, W.Va.

Salem slumps to 8-6-1 (4-4-1 G-MAC) while Point Park improves to 13-2-0 (2-0 KIAC).

Lucas Silva scored goals in the 13th and 80th minutes to pace Point Park. Javier Ruiz Paz scored the Tiger goal in the 24th minute.

Mohamed Bakayoko (Fort Myers, Fla.) was honored as the lone Tiger on the roster scheduled to graduate.
