Salem, W.Va. - The Salem International University women's volleyball team put up a valiant effort but the Fighting Scots from Ohio Valley proved to be too much with a 3-0 win over the Tigers on Wednesday night at the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium.
Imani Ward and Alyx Henry led OVU (19-9, 6-2 G-MAC) 13 and 11 kills. Salem (4-17, 1-7 G-MAC) was paced by
Janae Harris (7 kills),
Alessandra Marquez (6 kills), and
Rachel Hess (4 kills).
The Tigers will take to the court next when they host Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday at 7:00 PM before taking on Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
