Salem, W.Va - Salem International University picked up two wins today, defeating Virginia Union (3-2) before taking down WVU-Tech (3-2) at the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium in non-conference action.
Salem improves to 3-14 (1-1 G-MAC) and are currently riding a three-game win streak.
Rachel Hess led six Tigers with double-digit kills on the day with 26 while
Brittney Nesbitt added 20 of her own.
Salem will now turn back into G-MAC play when they travel to Ohio Valley University to take on the Fighting Scotts on October 7th. That match is set for 7:00 PM in Vienna, WV
