Bridgeport, W.Va - Two overtime periods proved to be not enough as the Salem International University men's soccer team battled Kentucky Wesleyan to a hard fought 0-0 tie on Thursday at the Bridgeport City Park.
Salem moves to 6-3-1 (2-1-1 G-MAC) while Kentucky Wesleyan now sits at 4-6-1 (1-1-1 G-MAC).
The Tigers pelted the opposition with over 14 shots (six on goal), compared to just six total shots (four on goal) for the visitors. Salem's Eliott Cook had four saves in 110 minutes played while KWC's Grant Allen had grabbed all six in the same time.
Salem International is scheduled tot ake on Trevecca Nazarene in G-MAC play on Saturday at the Bridgeport City Park. The game is set for a 3:30 kickoff.
