DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - The Salem International University men's basketball team fell to Mercy (NY), 103-96, Tuesday evening at the Mercy Gymnasium.
The Tigers are now 0-3 for the first time since the 2011-12 season. Mercy is off to a hot start with a 3-0 record.
David Atkinson scored a Salem career high with 24 points on 7-of-12 shooting and 4-of-6 from distance.
Gerard Tarin scored 10 to round out the Tiger double-digit scorers.
Salem will look to right the ship when they travel to Hillsdale College on November 29th. The Chargers are 1-0 with a 84-76 win over G-MAC rival Cedarville University.
