SALEM, W.Va. - The Salem International University women's basketball team fell to Kentucky Wesleyan, 75-50, in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action on Saturday at the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium.
The Tigers now sit at 0-9 (0-2 G-MAC) while KWC evens their record at 4-4 (2-0 G-MAC).
For the game, Salem was led by
Shakinah Haggins' 12 points on 6-of-15 shooting.
Courtney LittleDog had 11 points and
Amanda Jackson narrowly missed a triple-double, tallying 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Salem will return to action on December 9th when they travel to Evansville, IN to take on Southern Indiana in non-conference action. Game-time is set for 6:00 PM.
