BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The SIU women's soccer team dropped its G-MAC opener against Alderson Broaddus by a score of 4-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Battlers scored a pair of first half goals and added two more in the second half to set the 4-0 margin.

Sarah Jacques made 12 saves for SIU.

AB held a 26-2 advantage in shots, placing 18 on goal to just one for Salem International.

The Tigers host Davis & Elkins on Thursday afternoon at the Bridgeport City Park. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.
