SALEM, W.Va. - The Salem International University men's basketball team fell to Central State University, 96-76, on Thursday evening at the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium. The Marauders shot 51.4% total from the floor and were 19-of-21 from the foul line during the game.
Central State (12-6, 4-1 G-MAC) had six players score in double-figures. Masco Harmon led the way with 19 points, Hosie Smith, Jr. had 16, Raheem Lemons had 13, Tre' Edwards had 12, and Sterling Gilmore and Jeremy Brown chipped in 10 apiece in the win.
Tyler Bell led all scorers with 24 points.
David Atkinson came away with 13 points.
Salem (2-13, 0-6 G-MAC) will take on Cedarville University on January 24th at the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
