SALEM, W.Va. - The Salem Internationl University women's basketball team fell to Central State University, 93-67, on Thursday evening in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action at the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium.
Samantha Aikens led the charge for Salem (0-19, 0-7 G-MAC) with 22 points.
Shakinah Haggins registered a double-double 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Alexis Cooper added 13 points.
Central State's Iniquia Snell led the Marauders (5-11, 2-5 G-MAC) with 22 points. Jasmine Cooper had 21 points, Kourtni Perry had 18, and Amanda Pierce had 13 points to go along with 12 rebounds.
Salem welcomes Cedarville University to the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium on Saturday, January 24th for a 2:00 PM game.
