Tyler Bell (Kalamazoo, Michigan) had a season-high 31 points, including five three's, as Salem International University downed Davis & Elkins, 86-76, in Great Midwest Athletic Conference men's basketball action on Saturday at the McDonnell Center in Elkins, W.Va.
The Tigers improve to 3-15 overall and are now 1-8 in the G-MAC. Davis & Elkins drops to 6-13 and 2-7 in the conference.
Along with Bell's 31,
Abel Tillman had eight (8).
Gerard Tarin (Fort Myers, FL) led the Salem rebounding effort, grabbing nine (9) boards.
The Tigers will step out of G-MAC play on February 11th when they travel to Bluefield, W.Va. to take on Bluefield State. That game is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
