Salem season ends at Ohio Valley, 6-1

VIENNA, W.Va. (Oct. 27) – The Tigers 2015 season came to a conclusion following a 6-1 loss to Ohio Valley in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play Tuesday afternoon.

The Salem International University women's soccer team (0-14, 0-14 G-MAC) allowed season lows in goals and shots on goal, while attempting a season-high in shots and corner kicks in the match.

Trailing 6-0 in the final minute of the match, Tiger freshman Rikki Falsetto (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo Centennial) delivered a corner kick into the box. After a scrum for the ball, freshman Keishla Gilmore (Philadelphia, Pa./Mariana Bracetti) buried the ball in the back of the net to prevent the shutout with 41 seconds remaining in the game.

Senior Bre'Ana Felix (Heath, Ohio/Heath) made 18 saves in the match, two shy of a career-high in the loss. Junior Natalia Rodriguez (Miami, Fla./Coral Reef) attempted a season-high four shots, including two on net.
