Tigers knocked off by Trojans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 19) – The Tigers were defeated 10-0 by Trevecca Nazarene Saturday evening in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play.
 
The Salem International University women's soccer team falls to 0-3-0, while the Trojans improve to 2-3-1 this season.
 
Trevecca raced out to a 5-0 lead in the opening 13 minutes of the match and took a 7-0 lead into halftime. The Trojans added three more tallies in the second stanza to earn the victory.
 
Junior Natalia Rodriguez (Miami, Fla./Coral Reef) made five saves in net in 50 minutes in relief of senior starting goalkeeper Bre'Ana Felix (Heath, Ohio/Heath), who made a pair of saves in 40 minute of action.
 
The Tigers return to the pitch this Thursday, Sept. 24 when they head to Elkins, West Virginia to take on G-MAC foe Davis & Elkins at 2:30 p.m.
