NASHVILLE (Jan. 30) – The Tigers were handed an 82-42 loss at Trevecca Saturday afternoon in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play.
The loss drops the Salem International University women's basketball team to 2-17 overall, 0-7 the G-MAC. Meanwhile, the Trojans improve to 4-3 in league play, 5-11 overall.
Junior
Karla Hall (Richmond, Calif./Laguna Creek) led the Tigers with nine points and five rebounds (four offensive), while freshman
Imari Bowers (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech) chipped in eight points.
Salem International held a 14-10 edge in second-chance points, but Trevecca finished with a 33-8 advantage in points off of turnovers to build its lead.
The Tigers return to the court on Tuesday, Feb. 2 when they head to Philippi, West Virginia to take on Alderson Broaddus at 5:15 p.m.
