Amanda Allred (Ely, Nevada/White Pine), the Tigers were edged 3-0 by Lincoln (Pa.) Wednesday afternoon.
The Salem International University women's soccer team falls to 0-3 this season, while the Lions improve to 1-1 overall.
The game was scoreless until the 11
th minute, when Lincoln broke through with a goal. The Lions added to their lead with goals in the 31
st and 54
th minutes to secure the win.
Allred faced 17 shots (nine on goal) and made six stops to keep the game close. Salem International finished the game with two shots and one corner kick in the loss.
Salem International is back in action on Sunday, September 11 when they head to Columbus, Ohio to take on Ohio Dominican at 3 p.m.
