WASHINGTON, D.C. –The Salem University women's soccer team rolled over Trinity (DC) 11-0, Friday evening.
With the win, the Tigers improve to an impressive 7-3-1.
The Tigers controlled the entire game, as they did not allow one shot from Trinity. The Tigers led the shot total 43-0, while they led corner kicks 12-0.
In the first 18 minutes of the match, Salem mustered five goals and did not look back as the score was 7-0 at intermission.
The Tigers added four goals in the second half to eclipse double-digit goals for the first time this season.
This marks the Tigers second-straight shutout victory, as sophomore
Valentina Bonaiuto started in-goal and finished the match with 26 minutes and 41 seconds, while junior Emily Ponitakos finished the contest in-goal with 63 minutes and 19 seconds.

Thuto Ramafifi led the Tigers with a hat-trick, her third consecutive multi-goal match, while junior
Tamara Queiroz finished the match with two goals.

Aliyah Armijo connected with one goal and one assist.

The Tigers are back in actions Wednesday as they host Kentucky Christian for Senior Day set for a 2:00 p.m. start at Catalano Stadium.
