SALEM, W.Va.- The Salem University volleyball team fell to West Virginia State 3-0 (25-11, 25-9, 25-19), Tuesday night.

With the loss the Tigers' record is pushed to 7-24 for the season.

The Yellow Jackets led the Tigers in kills (37-18), blocks (6-5) and digs (36-18), while Salem controlled aces (5-4).

Junior
Liane Moser led the Tigers with six kills and three aces, while freshman
Amy Turbak held up the back row with fourteen digs.

WVSU's Gabrielle Bullock carried the team with eleven kills and two blocks, while J'Lana Stone also added ten kills and two blocks for the Yellow Jackets.

The Tigers are set to host a tri-match against Ashland at 3:00 p.m. and West Virginia Wesleyan at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday on Mike Carey Court.
