With the win, the Tigers move to 9-13 on the season.
Salem's offense was led by junior Milos Popovic who scored a game high seven goals, while sophomore Michael Rojas also contributed to the match with four goals.
Senior Inigo Velasco notched two goals, as sophomore Uros Jevtic and junior Salvador Orozco each added one each.
Senior Mateo Kozomara kept the Lakers under control with 18 saves.
Today's win secured Salem's second place seed in the conference tournament set to take place Saturday in Erie, Pa.
