CLARKSBURG, W.Va. –The Salem University men's soccer team fell to Lock Haven 3-0 in the 2018 Division II Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship, Saturday.
The Tigers finish the year with a 9-8-2 record, while Lock Haven finishes 8-7-2.
A few mistakes by the Tigers gave the advantage to Lock Haven for scoring opportunities as Salem found itself down 2-0 late in the first half.
Lock Haven led the Tigers in shots and shots on goal, as Lock Haven posted 13 shots with 11 on goal, while Salem recorded 12 shots with five on goal.
The Tigers did not have a corner kick, as Lock Haven generated four.

Mark Ferenczi-Bako each produced three shot attempts with two of them on goal.
The Tigers first scoring opportunity came at 3:06 as Toschi hit a shot but was saved by Lock Haven's keeper Jason Keller.
The first goal of the afternoon came at 31:54 as Lock Haven's Gage Rims hit a shot off a corner kick and found the back of the goal to take a 1-0 lead over Salem.
Just three minutes later, a mishandled ball by the Tigers led Lock Haven's Brian Flatter to an easy goal to give Lock Haven a 2-0 lead over the Tigers.
The Tigers trailed the Bald Eagles 2-0 at intermission.
At 71:08 Lock Haven's Christian Wieand scored off a cross to give the Bald Eagles a comfortable 3-0 lead over Salem.
The Tigers' sophomore
Till Trippner blasted a free kick from about 25 yards out as it went just wide of the right post with 25 minutes left in the match.
