Salem University fell to Roberts Wesleyan College 7-0 in NCAA Division II women's soccer Wednesday at Rochester, N.Y. The match was the season finale for the Tigers.

After trailing 5-0 at halftime, Salem limited the Redhawks to two goals in the second half, the final goal not scored until the 88th minute.

The Tigers entered Wednesday's contest on a three-match goal-scoring streak and came close to avoiding the shutout in the second half.
Kaylee Caswell and
Chrislyn Browne both put shots on frame, but both were denied by the Roberts Wesleyan goalkeeper.

Chelsea Cordice finished with 19 saves for her 12th double-figure saves performance of the season. She came within one save of her fourth 20-save performance of the season.

Cordice, a junior transfer from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, finished her first season at Salem with exactly 200 saves. Cordice currently ranks second in the nation in total saves.

Browne, also a junior transfer from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, led the Tigers offensively with three goals.
