Box Score Chelsea Cordice established a season best with 20 saves and Salem University's defense allowed only one first-half goal for the second straight match, but Dominican College pulled away in the second half to defeat the Tigers 5-0 in NCAA Division II women's soccer Sunday at Orangeburg, N.Y.

After falling behind 1-0 in the eighth minute, Salem (0-6) kept Dominican (1-3) out of the goal the remainder of the half to keep it a one-goal match at intermission. Dominican broke the match open with a pair of goals three minutes apart starting in the 63rd minute.

Salem returns to action Wednesday as the Tigers travel to Philippi, W.Va., to take on Alderson Broaddus. Match time is 5 p.m.
