Salem (4-12) was scheduled to host Ursuline College this past Saturday, but road conditions in Northern Ohio prohibited the Ursuline women's basketball team from traveling. A make-up date has not yet been announced.

The Tigers are playing for the first time since their 115-71 victory over Cheyney University January 13. The win marked Salem's third 100-point performance of the season. Prior to this year, the Tigers had not reached the 100-point mark since the 1995-96 season.

Aaliyah Holmes and Daniela Quesada led six players in double figures with 18 points apiece against Cheyney. Endia Jones recorded a double-double with season highs of 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Nia Bishop continues to lead the Tigers in scoring with 16.5 points per game, while Quesada has an 11.6 scoring average. Nerea Arambarri Fernandez and Alicia Smith are both knocking on the door of double-figure averages with more than nine points per game.

Salem has won each of its first two home games since returning from Christmas Break.

Ohio Valley (2-11) fell to Walsh University 92-65 Saturday.

Tonight's contest is the first meeting between the two teams since the Tigers fell to the Fighting Scots 61-53 in the Bevo Francis Tournament at Rio Grande University November 17, 2016. Salem defeated Ohio Valley 73-64 in the previous meeting the year before.

Salem plays the first of five consecutive away games Saturday as the Tigers travel to Bluefield, W.Va., to take on Bluefield State College. The final contest in the road stretch is a return match-up at Ohio Valley February 13. The Tigers' next home game is February 17 vs. Alderson Broaddus University.
