Salem University returns to action this evening as the Tigers travel to Columbus, Ohio, to take on Ohio Dominican University in NCAA Division II women's basketball. Tip-off is 6 p.m.

Salem (3-11) is coming off a 93-85 loss Saturday at Frostburg State University. The Tigers rallied from a 10-point second-half deficit to tie the game midway through the fourth quarter, but were limited to two free throws over the final five-plus minutes of the game.
Nia Bishop scored 23 points for her seventh 20-point game of the season and her third in a row. Bishop is averaging 18.0 points per game for the season, including a 23.0 average in her last three contests.

Aaliyah Holmes has averaged 13.5 points and has shot 70.0 percent from three-point range in her last two games. In the Tigers' 92-72 win over Davis & Elkins last Thursday, Holmes was 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and scored 16 points.

Ohio Dominican (6-9) snapped a five-game losing skid Saturday with a 66-60 victory at Alderson Broaddus.

Wednesday's contest is the first meeting between the two teams since November 13, 2012. Salem fell 49-47 at Ohio Dominican on a go-ahead basket with 21 seconds left in the Tigers' 2012-13 season opener.

Salem is off until Monday when the Tigers play host to Cheyney University as part of a doubleheader with Salem men's basketball.
