Salem University will spend a "three-day weekend" at Frank Loria Memorial Field as the Tigers play four games over the next three days, beginning with a three-game series against Kutztown University. The two teams play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. and a single game Sunday at noon.

Salem (7-7) extended its winning streak to six Wednesday with a 4-1 victory over Alderson Broaddus University. Dominick Curole led the Tigers both on the mound and at the plate, striking out 13 batters in 7 2/3 innings and belting two home runs. Kutztown (4-2) swept a doubleheader at Ohio Dominican University this past Sunday after splitting a pair of doubleheaders at Chowan University February 15-16 to open the season.
This weekend's series is believed to be the first-ever meeting in baseball between the Tigers and the Bears since Salem became a member of NCAA Division II.
Salem concludes its "weekend" Monday afternoon as the Tigers play host to Ohio Valley University. The game was originally scheduled for this evening, but pushed back due to today's weather.
In another Tiger baseball scheduling change, Wednesday's home contest vs. Frostburg State University has been canceled due to circumstances on Frostburg State's end. Salem is still scheduled to travel to Frostburg State in April for a single game.
