Akron, OH- Salem University baseball started their four-game weekend with a 16-1 loss at the University of Akron Thursday. Zachary Teem scored the only run for the Tigers.

The Tigers were able to put one on the board after four walks in the third to make the score 2-1. The Tigers couldn't contain the Akron offense as they went on to score 10 in the third. Teem had two hits in three at bats that were the only hits for the Tigers. 

The Tigers continue in their four game stretch the 13^th at 1 p.m.
