Box Score 2 California, PA- Salem University Baseball fell at California Unicer site of Pennsylvania Sunday in a double header contest 13-10 and 5-1. The Tigers had a combined total of 11 hits in both games.
Game one:
The Tigers had a big eighth inning that brought in four to bring them closer with a score of 7-12. Despite a three run homerun by Alan Larocque in the ninth, the Tigers couldn't rally for more falling 13-10. Austin Whetzel and Larocque both came away with multiple hits.
Game two:
Three Tigers had hits in game two: Kasey Buchanan, Dalton Robinson, and Parker Lenivy. Robinsons single up the middle brought in the only run for the Tigers in the ninth. Dominic Curole went five innings for the Tigers giving up five hits while striking out two.
The Tigers will be back in action at home the 17th against Wheeling University at 6 p.m.
