Box Score Charleston, WV- Salem University baseball fell 10-3 to University of Charleston in their first road game of the 2021 season Tuesday.
Austin Earls had a big day for the Tigers going 2-3 at the plate with a double and a homerun.

How It Happened:
- Both teams showed off their defense keeping the game scoreless until the third inning. After a lead of double by Martinez, Earl got the Tigers on the board with a two-run homerun over center field. The Golden Eagles answered back after a double making the score 2-1.Â
- Graham started of the seventh getting on base after being hit by pitch and making his way to third by wild pitch. Graham crosses the plate after a ground out by Martinez pulling the Tigers closer to the Golden Eagles 5-3.
- The Golden Eagles went on to score five in the bottom of the inning finishing up the scoring for the day, 10-3.
- Ben Mack started on the mound for the Tigers going four innings striking out three and only giving up three hits. The Tigers collected six hits on the day.
The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow against Glenville State CollegeÂ
at 6 p.m.
