Salem University baseball fell to #27 North Georgia in a double header contest Saturday 13-3 and 8-0. Noah Suarez collected four of the Tigers 11 hits.
Game One:
North Georgia jumped to an early lead scoring one in the first, three in the second, and two in the third. The Tigers got on the board in fifth after a sacrifice fly from Austin Earl. In the seventh, Earl drove in another run with a single up the middle and Suarez later scored on a wild pitch. The Nighthawks added two in the seventh to come away with the 13-3 victory.
Game Two:
Despite having five hits, the Tigers were unable to plate any runs in game two. The Nighthawks scored in first, third, fourth and seventh to finalize the 8-0 win.
The Tigers will play their final game of the season tomorrow starting at 11 a.m.
