The tigers had a tough second day of games at Brown University falling to both Long Beach State and Brown. In both games the tigers put up phenomenal first halves keeping each school on their toes but fell behind in the back end of the games. The end score of the first game was 24-5 to Long Beach and the second games score was 18-8 to Brown University.

During the first game against Long Beach Salem showed that they could match the intensity of the No.6 ranked team. The score after the first quarter was 1-3, the quality of defence on each team was high however the tigers were just a little short on their shooting execution. The second quarter score was 3-4 so a much closer period for the teams who were gaining greater offensive opportunities. This took the score to 4-7 at half time, after this however long beach was dominant the rest of the game, the final score being 24-5.
Ivan Zivojinovic and Manuel Soto Estella had 2 goals apiece, Estella also added 2 steals and 2 earned exclusions. Nikola Krstonosic added one goal, 3 drawn exclusions and a shot block.

The second game the tigers came out strong against Brown University leading the beginning of the first quarter. At half time the score was 9-6 to Brown. After a great first half of play the tigers struggled to hold onto the game and fell 18-8. Nikola Krstonosic scored 3 goals, added 4 assists and 2 drawn exclusions.
Ivan Zivojinovic and
Chad Rowley both put up 2 goals, Rowley also putting up 2 steals, a blocked shot and a drawn exclusion. Nikola Cvetkovic rounded out the team with 1 goal and one drawn exclusion.

Although this was a difficult weekend for the tigers it will have them very well prepared for their upcoming weekend of games in Erie, PA. They will be competing in their Division II Championships against Gannon, McKendree and Mercyhurst.
