SLIPPERY ROCK, Pennsylvania – Salem volleyball traveled to Slippery Rock, PA, to face for the third time Slippery Rock University. Previously in the season Salem has faced Slippery Rock at home and on neutral ground in Fairmont, each game they struggled to take the win. Yesterday evenings game proved to also be a difficult one for the tigers as they weren't able to overpower Slippery Rock in a set. The tigers scored 15 points in the first set, 10 in the second and 11 in the third. Despite the loss there were several girls who had a strong performance in the game.

Alycia Rivera had 4 kills and two blocks,
Makhia Hinton just behind her had 3 kills and 1 block. Gabriela Chaparro Coss had 6 total assists in the game, Brianna Sotelo came away with 3 assists and 4 digs. Tahnee Gerard had a total of 4 digs and 1 block. The tigers have a total of 2 more games left in their season, the first on Friday in Greensburg, PA. Salem will then round out their season with a home game against Fairmont State University on Saturday the 5
th. The tigers will be looking to clutch a win in these last two games before they close their season, especially with one home game advantage.
