Millersville, PA – Salem University Baseball fell to Millersville University in a double header contest 5-2 and 8-0.
Game One
Millersville jumped out to an early lead scoring three in the first inning and one in the third. The Tigers answered with two in the fourth. Kobie Carpenter and Scott Kondroik led off the inning with back-to-back walks. Nathan Kuhn singled to right field to bring in one for the Tigers followed by a double from Easy Goita to bring in the Tigers second run. Millersville added another in the sixth putting the game beyond the Tigers reach.
Game Two
The Tigers collected six hits in game two, led by Carpenter with two. Kondroik, Alex Harper, Jacob Barcikowski and Kuhn each contributed one hit apiece. While the Tigers went scoreless, Millersville scored one in the second and third and three in the fifth and sixth to come away with the 8-0 victory.
