Today Glenville State University traveled to the tiger's home turf in Nutter Fort for a 9 inning game that began at 2pm. The tigers last face off against the pioneers resulted in a grand 12-0 win and today they did not disappoint again. Salem came out swinging and didn't let off the gas taking the game 10-3 over Glenville.

On defense,
Keegan Oliver kept the pioneers scoreless for the three innings he pitched and recorded 5 strikeouts.
Tyler Sammons came in for relief and finished the last 6 innings with a grand 10 strikeouts and 3 allowed runs. Salem's. Hitting came alive in the 3
rd inning when
Kaiden Zacharias hit a double allowing
Jose Lojo to score. In the 4
th inning Zacharias hit a single that brought home Lojo and
Aaron Forbes.
Tyler Shinn singled at the end of the inning allowing Zacharias to score. Again, in the 8
th inning Shinn hit another single brining home Zacharias again. In inning 9 Zacharias hit yet another double allowing
Luis Angarita to run home. Zacharias tallied 3 hits on the day, Angarita, Shinn and Lojo recorded 2 and Kevin Thompson and
Trey Hissam each tallied 1.

This weekend the tigers will take on Virginia State University on Saturday at 1pm. Two double-header will take place over two days on home turf in Nutter Fort. This is the last home weekend series before Salem heads off to their conference championship weekend.
