NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio – After coming off a big win on day one of the Christmas Classic, the Salem Tigers men's basketball team had one more game before the holiday break. This time against Bryant and Stratton College out of Buffalo. The Tigers looked to keep the momentum from the previous game and leave the Classic with 2 straight wins. Salem was able to do just that as they would win another high scoring contest by a score of 97-86.
In the first half, the Tigers picked up right where they left off in the last game as the offense got going early. Bryant and Stratton would fight back with some scoring of their own to keep the game close. However, it would be the Tigers who headed into intermission with a 44-38 lead.
In the second half, the Tigers were consistent on the offensive side of the ball as the scoring continued. Bryant and Stratton would try to make a late push to close the gap, but fortunately it wasn't enough. Salem would end up taking their second game of the Christmas Classic by a score of 97-86.
