Salem's Offense Roars in Strong Win over Senators

SALEM, WV – The Salem Tigers (2-16) secured a convincing home win on Saturday afternoon, defeating Davis & Elkins (1-19) with a final score of 72-40 at the T. Edward Davis Gymnasium. The Tigers established control early and never looked back, leading by 27 points at halftime.

Game Summary

Salem opened the game with an explosive first quarter, outscoring the Senators 25-10. The momentum continued through the second period as the Tigers' defense held Davis & Elkins to just 8 points, entering the locker room with a 45-18 advantage.

The Tigers excelled in transition and inside the paint, capitalizing on turnovers to fuel their offense:
