The Salem University women's soccer team battled Lincoln University (Pa.) to a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon.
Lincoln struck first in the 20th minute when Jordan Allison scored off an assist from Aleisa Clarke, giving the Lions a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
Salem continued to battle in the second half and found the equalizer in the 71st minute. Dayana Martinez scored to bring the Tigers level at 1-1.
The Tigers continued to compete through the final minutes, but neither team was able to find the go-ahead goal as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
In goal for Salem, Alissa Brixander made four saves to help keep the Tigers in the match. Salem finished with four shots, including three on goal, while Lincoln recorded 11 shots with five on goal.
The Tigers also earned one corner kick and battled through a physical match that featured 23 total fouls and seven cautions.
Salem will continue its 2026 season as the Tigers look to build on Sunday's result.
