As a student-athlete, Brown earned All-Red River Athletic Conference and Scholar Athlete honors. He was also the Red River Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Freshman of the Year.
During Brown's athletic career, Our Lady of the Lake reached the NAIA National Tournament three times, including an appearance in the National Quarterfinals.
In addition to Salem and Our Lady of the Lake, Brown's favorite sports teams include the Los Angeles Lakers, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, LSU and UNC.
