Adam Zelmanowicz took the reins of the Salem Women's Soccer program in the spring of 2026. He initially joined Salem University as a member of the men’s soccer coaching staff in 2025, and was a part of the 2025 USCAA Division I National Championship team. He brings a strong background in collegiate coaching, recruiting, and player development to the Tigers program.
Zelmanowicz comes to Salem following his time at Glendale Community College, where he contributed to both the men’s and women’s soccer programs from 2022-2024. Most recently, he served as head coach of the women’s program, leading the team to its first conference semifinal appearance in over 25 years while coaching multiple All-Region selections. On the men’s side, he held roles as assistant and associate head coach, helping guide the program to national rankings, including a top-20 finish, and multiple postseason appearances.
Prior to Glendale, Zelmanowicz served as head coach at Desert Edge High School in Arizona, where he led the varsity program to its first tournament championship and first state playoff appearance in over 15 years, while also overseeing a successful junior varsity squad.
He also brings club experience from Tuzos Academy, where he served as both a coach and Director of College Recruitment, mentoring student-athletes through the recruiting process and contributing to championship-level teams. Earlier in his career, he coached at Somerset Academy in Florida.
