Greg Gilmore

Greg Gilmore took over as Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Salem University in 2024 and enters his third season leading the program in Fall 2026. During his time with the Tigers, Gilmore has continued building a competitive foundation while emphasizing player development and a strong team culture. In the Fall of 2025, Gilmore's squad captured the programs first USCAA Division National Championship with a 4/3 victory over Maine-Fort Kent.

He came to Salem following five seasons at NCAA Division III Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin, where he served as head men’s soccer coach from 2019-2023. During his tenure, Gilmore led a turnaround of the Jacks program, transforming a one-win team into a competitive presence in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. In addition to his collegiate coaching responsibilities, Gilmore also spent time working with Duluth FC, a semi-professional club based in Duluth, Minnesota.

Prior to Northland, Gilmore returned to his alma mater, Southern Vermont College, where he served as head men’s soccer coach from 2016-2018. He guided the Mountaineers to their first postseason appearance in four years, helping reestablish the program’s competitiveness. Gilmore began his coaching career at the high school and club levels following his playing career at Southern Vermont.
