Dennis Hutson is in his first year with the Salem women's basketball program.Hutson is involved in game and practice preparation and coaching the Tigers' post play, as well as being involved in recruiting.
A Harrison County native, Hutson spent 41 years coaching high school girls' and boys' basketball in Harrison County. In 29 seasons as a head coach, he compiled 379 wins and led 14 teams to state tournaments, including helping guide Bridgeport High School to the 2001 Boys' State Championship.

Hutson earned his bachelor's degree in education from Fairmont State University and earned his master's in education from Salem.
