• Scored his first Division I points by connecting on a pair of baskets and ending with four points, along with a steal, against Eastern Michigan

• His dad, Ricky Davis, starred at the University of Iowa before he played 12 years in the NBA for the Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Los Angles Clippers and averaged 13.5 points per game, including a career-high 20.6 as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2002-03
