Fairmont, W.Va - Michael Brunton (Bedfordshire, England) scored two goals and assisted in another as the Salem International University men's soccer team defeated Ohio Valley University, 3-0, in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action on Tuesday evening at Duvall-Rosier Field on the campus of Fairmont State University.

The win moves Salem to 8-4-1 (4-2-1 G-MAC) on the season.

Alejandro De la Macorra (Mexico City, Mexico) scored the other goal for SIU as the Tigers were actually outshot by OVU, 11-9. Dominic Gillespie (Newcastle Upon Tyne, England) started his second game in the net for Salem, grabbing seven saves in the game.

Salem returns to the pitch on October 23rd when they travel to Philippi, W.Va. to take on the Battlers from Alderson Broaddus.
