BRISTOL, TN - The Salem International University women's basketball team hung tough, but it was the homestanding King University (TN) that came out on top, 51-32, in non-conference action on Friday, November 21st.
The loss drops Salem to 0-4 on the season while King moves to 3-1.
Inkera Patterson scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting to lead the Tigers.
Shakinah Haggins led the SIU rebounding effort with 13.
Salem International will have a quick turnaround, taking on Saint Joseph's (IND.) on November 24th before playing again on November 25th against Pitt-Johnston.
