Samantha Aikens (Hilton Head Island, SC) scored a game-high 23 points, but the Salem International University women's basketball team fell to Northwood University, 89-56, in their final game at the 2014 Wayne State Holiday Classic.
With the loss, Salem slips to 0-14 on the season.
Aikens led Salem with a game-high 23 points on 7-of-20 shooting and 9-of-11 from the free throw line.
Shakinah Haggins (Lakeland, FL) came through with 14 points on 5-of-14 from the floor, while
Alexus Cooper (Richmond, VA) scored 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
