WISE, Va. – Megan Maafala-Maiva and Rachel Hess each registered 15 kills, but it wasn't enough to secure the win, as the SIU volleyball team dropped its sixth straight match, falling 3-1 to Virginia-Wise.

Brittney Nesbitt finished the evening with 27 assists, while Gitana Cafasso added 18 assists. Jen Martinez tallied 24 digs, and Colleen McTier notched 10 digs.

The Tigers will attempt to break into the win column on Saturday afternoon at Chestnut Hill.
