ELKINS, W.Va. - The Salem International University women's basketball team fell to Davis & Elkins, 88-40, in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action on Saturday at the McDonnell Center in Elkins, W.Va.

With the loss, Salem drops to 0-22 and 0-9 in the G-MAC. D&E improves to 10-8 overall and 6-4 in the conference.

Alexus Cooper led Salem with 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Samantha Aikens chipped in 11 points in the effort.

The Tigers will host Ursuline on February 7th for the final home contest of the 2014-15 season. Tipoff is set for 2:00 PM.
