SALEM, W.Va. (Oct. 10) – The Tigers were handed a 14-0 loss by Kentucky Wesleyan in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) action Saturday afternoon.
The loss sends the Salem International University women's soccer team to 0-9 overall, 0-9 in conference play this season. Meanwhile, the Panthers improve to 6-3 in the G-MAC and 7-3 overall.
Kentucky Wesleyan held a 2-0 advantage through the first 16 minutes, before the Panthers exploded for several more goals in the next 30 minutes to take a 9-0 lead into the break. Kentucky Wesleyan added an additional five goals in the second half before settling for a 14-0 win over the Tigers.

Bre'Ana Felix (Heath, Ohio/Heath) tallied 14 saves in the loss. Salem International was out-shot 49-0 on the afternoon.
The Tigers are back on the field Thursday, Oct. 15 when they host Alderson Broaddus in another G-MAC contest. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
