Box Score ELKINS, W.Va. (Oct. 31) – The Tigers lost at Davis & Elkins 3-1 (25-21, 25-9, 22-25, 25-18) Saturday afternoon in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) action.
The loss drops the Salem International University volleyball team to 5-18 overall, 0-5 in the G-MAC. Meanwhile, the Senators improve to 3-4 in conference play, 9-14 overall this season.
Sophomore
Rachel Hess (Stuttgart, Germany/Patch) led the team withe 11 kills, while freshman
Tallora Soriano (San Antonio, Texas/Theodore Roosevelt) tallied a season-high 10 kills.
Senior
Brittney Nesbitt (Kansas City, Mo./Raytown South) matched her career-high from a day prior with 25 assists and six kills, while sophomore
Serena Estrada (Decatur, Texas/Decatur) led the defensive efforts with 10 digs in the loss.
The Tigers return to the court Tuesday, Nov. 4 when they host Ohio Valley at 6 p.m.
