SALEM, W.Va. (Oct. 8) – The Tigers were defeated 12-0 by Trevecca Nazarene in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Thursday afternoon at Catalano Stadium.
The loss sends the Salem International University women's soccer team to 0-8 overall and 0-8 in conference action. Meanwhile, the Trojans improve to 3-4-1 in the G-MAC, 5-5-2 overall.
The Trojans scored nine first half goals to cruise to the victory, including four between the 10th and 20th minutes. Junior
Natalia Rodriguez (Miami, Fla./Coral Reef) took the loss in net after making several saves in net.
The Tigers resume G-MAC play Saturday, Oct. 10 when they host Kentucky Wesleyan at 1 p.m.
